Burna Boy Pauses Concert to Kiick Out Couple Sleeping During Performance

Grammy-winning Nigerian superstar Burna Boy was a no-nonsense performer at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado on Wednesday night after dramatically stopping his performance to confront a sleeping couple right in the front row.

The African Giant was in the middle of his set when he spotted a fan and his girlfriend peacefully lost in dreamland while the rest of the crowd was vibing to his performance.

In a viral video circulating on social media, Burna Boy didn’t even mince his words as he kicked the couple out.

“We’re doing this because we love you, you understand? But when I stand up here and see you with your girl sleeping in front of me… that’s where y’all fk off. Please, take her the fk home!” said Burna.

The girlfriend didn’t look too eager to rise from her unexpected nap, and her man awkwardly tried pulling her up as thousands of fans watched the drama unfold.

But Burna Boy wasn’t having it.

“Yo, hurry up! Wallahi, I’m not doing another song till you go home,” he warned, refusing to continue until the pair made their exit.

According to one X user who claimed to be at the show, the whole meltdown came from a place of frustration. The fan revealed that Burna had confessed earlier during the set that he was performing while very sick.

“He told us, ‘I almost didn’t make the show. I’m so sick, I had to take so many medications… but the show goes on,” she wrote.

The eyewitness added that throughout the show, Burna Boy kept stopping for water and was visibly pushing himself. So when he caught some people sleeping after he explained his condition, it seemed to hit a nerve.

“He was like, ‘I told y’all I was sick… and the fact y’all sitting down here and sleeping as I’m giving my best?’
