The event brought together parents, teachers, learners, community leaders and officials from the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, who all praised the school’s remarkable achievements during the year.

The ceremony was graced by Inspector Juliet Mushayandebvu, representing Mhondoro District Schools Inspector Mr. Bernard Kowo, who delivered an empowering keynote address on the transformative power of education.

“Today we gather not only to celebrate success but to acknowledge the life-changing power of education,” she said. She applauded the dedication of teachers, the support of parents, and the resilience of learners, emphasizing that collaboration remained the foundation of quality learning.

She highlighted commendable school achievements, including sports successes, educational tours, the acquisition of office furniture, establishment of an ECD playfield, marimba equipment, and the construction of a three-classroom block.

However, Inspector Mushayandebvu also noted challenges such as delayed fees payments, limited access to digital learning tools, textbook shortages, and difficulties in engaging some parents in school activities.
“We must work together as parents, teachers and community stakeholders to overcome these obstacles. Every child deserves a learning environment that enables them to thrive,” she urged.

The highlight of the day was the recognition of Head Girl Tanaka Shava, who emerged the overall best Grade 7 student with an outstanding 7 units.
