Mnangagwa’s Vision For Inclusive Development: 114 Km Kezi-Maphisa Road Rehabilitation Takes Center Stage

Matabeleland South – The Second Republic, led by His Excellency Dr. Emerson Mnangagwa, is leaving no stone unturned in its quest to develop the nation’s infrastructure, with the 114km Bulawayo-Kezi-Maphisa and Gwanda-Maphisa road rehabilitation project taking center stage.
The project is a testament to President Mnangagwa’s commitment to inclusive development, ensuring that no place or person is left behind. Since assuming leadership, President Mnangagwa has appointed hardworking ministers, such as Advocate Felix Mhona (pictured right), who is spearheading the rehabilitation of national roads.
“The Second Republic is committed to transforming Zimbabwe’s infrastructure landscape, and this project is a significant step towards achieving that goal,” said Minister Mhona. “We’re working tirelessly to ensure that our roads are safe, efficient, and conducive to economic growth.”
Matabeleland South Provincial Minister, Albert Nguluvhe, echoed Minister Mhona’s sentiments, highlighting the project’s potential to boost economic activity and improve living standards. “This project is a game-changer for our province, and we’re grateful to the President and Minister Mhona for their unwavering support.”
Provincial Engineer Mangisi Nkomo said the project is progressing well, with several construction companies working together to meet the deadline. “We’re making good progress, and we’re committed to delivering quality workmanship,” he said.
The construction companies involved in the project include Zada Construction Company, Asphalt Products, Masimba Holdings, Dikub Construction, Derivative Resources, Geoflakes, JR Goddard, Troling Civil Engineers, Baidu, and Osapis.
The rehabilitation of these roads is expected to have a significant impact on the region, enhancing connectivity and facilitating trade between Zimbabwe’s major cities and neighboring countries.
As Zimbabwe gears up to celebrate 46 years of independence in Kezi, this road habilitation has coincidentally been the the Ministry’s priority.Government is leaving no stone unturned in preparing the necessary infrastructure to showcase the country’s potential to the world.
