The State of Palestine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned the recent wave of settler terrorism in the West Bank, describing it as a “genocidal war” against the Palestinian people.

In a statement, the Ministry accused Israeli occupation authorities and settler militias of coordinating attacks on Palestinian villages and cities, resulting in the burning of homes, killing of civilians, and destruction of property.

“These assaults reflect a dangerous escalation in systematic and widespread settler terrorism, supported and coordinated by the Israeli occupation authorities and army,” the statement read.

The Ministry expressed appreciation for countries that have condemned the attacks and urged the international community to take concrete action, saying, “We call on the international community to take concrete measures rather than limiting itself to statements.”

“We will continue our diplomatic efforts to provide international protection for the Palestinian people and hold the Israeli colonial regime accountable for their crimes,” said a spokesperson for the Ministry.

The attacks come amid heightened tensions in the region, with the Israeli occupation authorities continuing their actions against Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank.

The international community is being urged to act, with the Ministry calling for settlers to be disarmed, held accountable, and added to international terrorism lists.
