KEYS OF PEACE, PROGRESS, STABILITY, AND PROSPERITY: 35,000 TRACTORS PROVE THE SECOND REPUBLIC MEANS BUSINESS

_”You don’t change your best players during the course of the game” – Muduvuri hails President Mnangagwa as village mechanization set to transform Zimbabwe_

KADOMA — The sound coming out of Kadoma this week is not of protest. It is the sound of engines being counted.

Cde Jimayi Muduvuri says the message is simple and non-negotiable: the President is delivering.

_”His Excellency President Cde Dr ED Mnangagwa is holding the keys of peace, progress, stability, and prosperity,”_ Muduvuri bellowed over the phone. _”35,000 tractors are not a joke.”_

THE DOER IN ACTION

It was His Excellency President Cde Dr ED Mnangagwa himself who announced the rollout of 35,000 tractors for Village Business Units in the next two months — timed to coincide with the beginning of the summer agricultural season.

For Muduvuri, it is vindication.
_”We are really witnessing life transformation projects being rolled out during our lifetime. Vindicating CAB3. You don’t change your best players during the course of the game. You let them finish and celebrate with them,”_ said Muduvuri.

With agriculture targeted to become a $15.8 billion economy by 2030 — contributing over 17% of GDP and employing nearly 70% of the population — Muduvuri says this is the moment youth must seize.
_”The availability of tractors will see many young people joining the agricultural sector as movers and builders of the nation,”_ he said.

BEYOND MACHINERY: THE COMPLETE FARMING EQUATION

Yet, machinery alone does not guarantee a harvest. Peace allows the full equation to be solved.

Muduvuri highlighted inputs, water, markets and post-harvest management as critical:
_”The Second Republic understands that value addition is the finality. Peace gives us the stability to build storage facilities, negotiate fair market access, and keep the food chain intact. Without peace, these fruits are impossible.”_
Note: Only 8% of Zimbabwe’s arable land is currently irrigated.

THE RIPPLE EFFECT: JOBS, BUSINESSES, WEALTH

_”The spin-offs and downstream will see workshops for repairs being established. Spares businesses, transport, and downstream agro-processing will all grow. Employment creation in the agricultural sector will be massive,”_ he noted.

That means:
– Workshops in every district to service and maintain the fleet
– Spares businesses supplying parts, tires, and oils
– Transport operators moving inputs and produce to market
– Downstream agro-processing turning raw harvest into packaged goods and exports — adding at least 30% value

WHEN OTHERS PLAN CHAOS, WE PLAN HARVEST

_”It must be crystal clear that organizers of 31st July are being driven by self-aggrandizement, self-ego people who have lost political relevance,”_ Muduvuri said.
He further urged them to _“join hands and build Zimbabwe.”_

A political analyst who requested anonymity added: _“Zimbabwe is blessed to have Cde ED Mnangagwa as the President. He should be allowed to lead us into Canaan, a land of milk and honey.”_ The analyst described 31st July proponents as _anti-revolutionary_.

AGRICULTURAL SHOWS: PLATFORMS OF PROGRESS

Peace makes possible the upcoming 116th Zimbabwe Agricultural Show themed _“POWERING GROWTH: WHERE AGRICULTURE, TECHNOLOGY AND COMMERCE CONVERGE.”_

Muduvuri cited regional examples: Ethiopia’s AgriTech Expo pushed smallholder yields up by 40%. Ghana’s fairs helped boost cocoa processing from 20% to over 60% domestic value addition.

WOMEN AND YOUTH: THE BACKBONE AND THE FUTURE

Women constitute an estimated 70% of Zimbabwe’s farming workforce.
_”Women must be equally rewarded and recognised,”_ Muduvuri stressed. _”The tractor allocation, training programmes, and value-chain opportunities should reserve slots for women and young people. Peace gives us the platform to design inclusive policies.”_

Integration strategies: Youth lease-to-own tractor schemes, women-led agro-processing cooperatives, and digital platforms linking farmers to credit and extension.

_”The next millionaires will come from the agricultural sector as we are moving towards a $15.8BN Agricultural Economy by 2030,”_ concluded Muduvuri.
