Police stop individual from holding peaceful solo demo in Beitbridge against CAB3

Beitbridge Police has barred Blessing Brendon Dube from holding his planned one-man demo against CAA3 signed into law by President Mnangagwa a few weeks ago.

The terse letter does not give Blessing Brendon Dube reasons for the dismissal of his demo.

It simply asks Dube to fully comply with the provisions of the Maintenance of Order and Peace Act without saying what is not complied with.

“May you fully comply with the provisions of Maintanance of Order and Peace Act Chapter (11:21)”.

“They said there were some errors in my notification letter, so I have to re-notify them, starting afresh the whole process,” he said. *_-Masvingo Mirror_*
