Holy Ten’s first post since bail sparks huge reaction from fans

Zimbabwean hip-hop artist Holy Ten has spoken publicly for the first time since being released on bail over allegations of raping a 14-year-old girl. The rapper shared a brief message on social media, prompting an outpouring of support from many of his followers as his criminal case remains before the courts.

Holy Ten, born Mukudzei Chitsama, has largely remained out of the public eye since his arrest and subsequent release on bail.

However, the musician returned to his official social media accounts with a short post that read: “Better days are calling.”

The post quickly gained traction, with supporters filling the comments section with messages of encouragement.

Among the responses were comments such as: “The Lord has done it finally, Baba Juu is back again.”

Another supporter wrote: “We miss you bro.”

Others described the rapper as their “GOAT” (Greatest Of All Time) and encouraged him to continue making music despite the legal proceedings.

Holy Ten was granted bail by Harare Magistrate Jese Kufa after he was charged with allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl.

The allegations remain before the courts, and Holy Ten has not been convicted of the offence.

The musician is expected to return to court on 7 August 2026 after prosecutors requested additional time to complete investigations.

According to information presented in court, the State is still seeking to obtain a cross-examination report and documentary proof relating to the complainant’s age.

Several supporters urged Holy Ten to remain focused and continue his music career.

Some fans also compared his situation to that of Jamaican dancehall artist Vybz Kartel, arguing that legal challenges do not necessarily determine an artist’s legacy.
