Former Harare City FC and Hwange FC coach, Bigboy Mawiwi has returned to local football when he was recently appointed as head coach at Kadoma-based Ruyamuro Northern Region Division One League outfit, Come Again Football Club.
Come Again DC Vice-chairperson, Dick Dumbu confirmed to the media that they had settled for the much-experienced gaffer from a host of more than 30 applicants who had shown interest in his club, which also drew applicants from South Africa.
“Come Again football club is pleased to announce the arrival of former Harare City and Hwange FC coach, Bigboy Mawiwi, as the substantive coach of Come Again as we start the 2023 Northern Region Division One League campaign,” said Dumbu.
Mawiwi comes to Kadoma with his vast experience that is needed at Come Again, having been in the dugout for the former Castle Lager Premier Soccer and having been in Northern Region Division One League with other clubs for some time.
“I call on all our players and fans to rally behind Mawiwi as we challenge for the 2023 championship,” said the Come Again football club Vice-Chairperson.
Mawiwi will be unveiled in Kadoma at a later date to be announced.
The Kadoma-based Division One League outfit survived relegation by a whisker finishing two points shy of relegation zone in their debut season.
Mawiwi Joins Come Again after former coach Wonder Ngoko left the club in a huff to join Norton-based Moors World of Sports (Mwos) who have been promoted into the Northern Region Division One League.
