SHE IS A SCAMMER, UK FIRM WARNS ZIM JOB-SEEKERS…case filed with Zim Nurses Council
UNITED Kingdom-based care work company, Stoke Heath Homecare Ltd, claims a Zimbabwean nurse is using its name as a recruitment agency to allegedly scam desperate job-seekers in the country.
Bernadette Mushipe Musinza, from Hatfield in Harare, is being accused of promising to provide certificates of sponsorship to people intending to work as care workers in the UK.
Bernadette is reported to have previously worked at Chitungwiza General Hospital, Warren Park, Newlands and Mbare clinics.
Stoke Heath Homecare owner, Ellies Boka, told H-Metro that they had been getting enquiries from a number of people who have allegedly been scammed by Bernadette.
“We have received an overwhelming number of calls from people who were scammed by Bernadette claiming to be our recruitment agent in Zimbabwe.
“Bernadette has scammed a number of people promising to give them certificates of sponsorship to come and work for our organisation as care workers.
“She has used many other organisations to scam vulnerable job seekers.
“Bernadette has never been formally or informally employed as an agent by our organisation.
“Please do not be scammed by this nurse. We have reported her to the Nurses Council of Zimbabwe.”
Bernadette was cryptic in her response when contacted by H-Metro.
“It’s a long story. Everything we had done was between us (her and Stoke Heath Homecare).
“I am sure there are some things which happened in his house and he now wants to play smart,” Bernadette said.
