Ingezi hurricanes 1: 2 Kadoma city

Kadoma — Kadoma City FC supporters were iver the moon as their team, nicknamed “Yemunyanza”, hammered Ingezi HURRICANES 1:2 in a tightly contested match which was played in a friendly and peaceful evironment.

The first half saw both teams failing to find the back of the net.
However, the match changed complexion in favour of the visitors in the second half as they introduced high pressing football tactics, resulting in Hurricanes’ defence panicking which gave pressure, which resulted in City finding the net.
Five minutes later Hurricanes equalize with a header through their captain, Bhudha but the celebration didn’t last long after City boys scored ten minutes before final whistle.
City’s two goals came from goal poacher, Charles Munyanyi.
The unbeaten, Kadoma city FC is now on the top of the log are now on an unbeaten run of five games, with four wins and one draw after the which being lead by Phibion Muimbu(Head coach), assisted by Jerry Machacha.
Week 5 fixture was Ingezi Hurricanes’ first defeat in the Mashonaland west Division 2 league.
After the weekend win city is now sitting on top of the log with 13 points, while Ingezi Hurricanes is still breathing behind with 12 points.
City Supporters, went home throwing praising words to the players, technical team and the entire team for the great team performance
The team manager, Muimbu appealed Chief Chauke lead executive and the entire Kadoma community who came in numbers to support the team.
Muimbu further urges supporter to continue supporting the team this coming fixture when city face o Golden valley who lost their previous match 1:2 to Great Igor.
Other week 6 fixture, Great Igor are at home against Cyclone Stars, Venice FC faces Chakari United, Cam & motor play VIP Stars while Zim young Academy travel to Ingezi United.
