Man found dead in maize field

In a chilling discovery, local authorities in Bulawayo found the lifeless body of John Sithole (73) in a maize field behind a clothing factory.

According to a statement released by the police, Sithole’s body was discovered on December 29, 2023. Alongside the tragic find, law enforcement also recovered a blood-stained hoe at the scene, potentially serving as a crucial piece of evidence in the ongoing investigation.

The authorities are urging individuals with relevant details to come forward and report to the nearest police station promptly.

“Police in Bulawayo are appealing for information which may assist in the investigation of a case of murder in which John Sithole (73) was found dead, with a deep cut on the head, at a maize field behind a clothing factory in Donnington on 29/12/23.”

“A blood-stained hoe was recovered at the scene. Anyone with information to report at any nearest police station,” reads the statement.
