Contemporary musician Jah Prayzah has been gifted with a flashy vehicle worth US$180 000 further solidifying the artist’s links with the ruling party Zanu PF, Nhau/Indaba has established. Zanu PF benefactor Sir Wicknell Chivayo rewarded the talented musician with a new 2023 Mercedes Benz S500 4matic bought from a local car dealer in Harare Friday.

Chivayo who has been on a lavish spending spree on luxurious cars where he has been gifting Zanu PF loyalists. In October last year he gifted “ED Pfee” and “Mai Welly (Tsepetetsepete)” hit singer Chief Hwenje as well as DJ Masomere with a Toyota Hilux D4D double cab worth US$65 000 each for their roles during the campaign period towards the August 2023 elections.
They also got US$50,000 and US$60,000 respectively to buy houses.
During the same month he rewarded comedian Sabhuku Vharazipi and his co-actors with US$140,000 for their exploits during the 2023 presidential campaign rallies in Masvingo.
During the Easter period he splurged US$162 000 through purchases of two new off-road Toyota vehicles, a 2023 Hilux GR Sport and 2023 Fortuner VX for his church leader, Lawrence Lavious Katsiru and his wife Violet, respectively.
