Zimbabwe makes a mark at world contest
ZIMBABWEAN beauty queen Nokutenda Marumbwa is raising the country’s flag high after making it into the top 40 at the Miss World contest in India which had over 100 contestants.
The 21-year-old beauty queen is asserting her presence at the 72nd edition of the Miss World contest after reaching the semi-finals where more than 100 beauty queens from across the globe are vying for the coveted crown.
Earlier, the beauty with brains got into the top five of the Head-to-Head challenge where she was selected together with Botswana, Nigeria, England, and Lebanon.
Based on Hot Picks by pageantry aficionados, Marumbwa has a great chance of making it to the top in the finals.
The 112 beauty queens are set for the Miss World Top Model event on Saturday where each contestant gets an opportunity to showcase their best catwalk wearing national dress and designs.
The Miss World talent final show will be held on Sunday as a build-up to the final contest set for Mumbai on the 9th of March.
