Masvingo – The wait is finally over for music lovers in Chiredzi, as the town prepares to host its inaugural Summer Music Festival.
On Friday, August 30, 2024, the Caravan Park will transform into a vibrant music hub, showcasing the best of hip-hop and dancehall talent. The brains behind the highly anticipated event, 5 Star Ent and DTL Records are aiming to put Chiredzi firmly on the entertainment map.
The festival boasts an impressive lineup of performers, headlined by three of the genre’s biggest names: Master H, Bagga, and Boss Pumacol. These musical heavy-hitters will share the stage with a talented roster of local artists, including Queen Charlotte, Faster G, Swagmore Okoye, Team Bvondo, Pjay Magetsi, Juggler, Braco T, the famed DJ Ally on the decks and many more
According to Kudzai Matondo, Director of 2Kings Entertainment and DTL Records, the festival’s promoter, “We’re thrilled to bring this caliber of talent to Chiredzi. Our goal is to create a memorable experience for music lovers and showcase the town’s vibrant culture. We’re expecting a sold-out event, and we can’t wait to make history in Chiredzi”
