The ‘Doek and Slay’ event exploded with energy yesterday at Alex Sports Club as over 13,000 women gathered for what has now become Zimbabwe’s largest outdoor party.

 

The event, known for its vibrant atmosphere and unique dress code and signature doek, saw its largest turnout yet.

The popular ‘Doek and Slay’ event which is exclusively for women, saw over 13,770 women attending the much-anticipated event.

Dressed to impress, attendees flocked to the event, perfectly embodying the ‘Doek and Slay’ theme – denim, white tops, and vibrant does.

 

Children were also welcomed, adding a family-friendly touch to the festivities.

The event featured performances by popular artists EXQ, Killer T, and Freeman, who entertained the massive crowd, ensuring everyone got their money’s worth.

Speaking to H-Metro after the event, Doek and Slay organizers stated that there are thrilled by the massive turnout at the event.

 

“We can safely say that this edition was the biggest event with over 13,770 women in attendance,” said one of the event organizers.
