A Masvingo man faced what could be the most humiliating moment of his life when his girlfriend publicly rejected his marriage proposal.
The young man, whose identity has not been revealed, was left heartbroken after his girlfriend declined his engagement ring at a Pizza Inn food court in Masvingo recently. The awkward moment was captured on video and shared on X (formerly Twitter) by Crime Watch Zimbabwe.
In the footage, the man is seen on his knees, asking for his girlfriend’s hand in marriage, while Pizza Inn employees cheer them on with excitement. However, the mood quickly shifts when the young woman, dressed in a red sleeveless dress, flatly rejects his proposal. She even laughs in his face and waves her hands dismissively. Despite his attempts to persuade her, she remains firm in her refusal before walking out of the food court with a friend.
