Destiny Of Afrika Network Senior Officials Hires Thugs And Touts To Disrup Pastors Empowerment Workshop In Mutare

Two senior officers pf Destiny Of Afrika Network, Wilson Masokovere who is the housing project manager and Themba Sauramba , treasurer are accused of trying to block Pastors economic empowerment seminar organized by Pastor Obadiah Musindo, founder Destiny Of Afrika Network church by hiring thugs and touts to try and block a meeting at SkyView hotel in Mutare.
There had been some alleged misappropriation of funds for the Destiny Of Afrika Network housing project which covers phase 2 and 3 in Mutare. Pastor Musindo accuses the two for squandering money for pastors, disappearing of files for pastors, double allocating stands to the members of the project, taking money from members and transferring funds to their personal accounts and refusal for housing auditing.
Yesterday Destiny Of Afrika Network held a pastors economic empowerment seminar which the two senior officers Masokovere and Sauramba tried to block, but in vain.
Last week there was a story which was ran in the media sayinh Pastor Musindo and other two senior officers Masokovere and Sauramba were being investigated by the Zimbabwe Anti Corruption Commission for housing stands corruption which pastor Musindo refutes the accusations.
“They are the ones who are being investigated by ZACC not me, you cannot just go to the media and say Pastor Musindo did this or he took this without evidence, they are doing malicious things trying to tarnish my image.
“On Friday they paid mawhindi and some thugs in Mutare after realizing that their media campaign team cannot manage to disrupt our meeting. They lied to the police and to different people and said our meeting was for the opposition, on another side they went to ZANU PF and said there is a meeting going to be done by pastor Musindo on Saturday at SkyView hotel and it was about promoting Chiwengwa among pastors,” narrated Pastor Musindo.
“Wilson Masokovere and Themba Sauramba are being investigated by ZACC for stilling my stands, ndoo mbabva dzinoramba auditing, they are supported by some politicians and some men who are my enemies,” said Pastor Musindo.
“There is one mupostori who is behind them and he is connected to big guys and has access to many politicians and I will expose him in due course. You cannot hijack someone’s project and try to tarnish the image of him,” fumed Pastor Musindo.
Pastor Musindo also accused Wilson and Themba for taking his housing project stands which were allocated to the Destiny Of Afrika Network housing project by the Ministry of Local Government and Public Works and he said they also invaded state land and pegged it and sold to people seeking housing stands.
Efforts to get comments from the two accused men failed as their mobile phones were not reachable.
