Destiny of Afrika Network housing project on course

Destiny of Afrika Network is complementing government efforts to provide shelter through an ambitious national housing project targeting 100 000 houses by 2030.
Destiny of Afrika Network’s housing project is in line with the government’s vision aiming to provide affordable housing to low and middle-income earners.
The project targets 20 000 housing units in Harare by 2030, with 5 000 housing stands already under development in Harare and Chitungwiza.
The project is focused on providing housing solutions to various groups, including civil servants by providi g affordable housing solutions for government employees, informal traders and housing opportunities for Zimbabweans in the Diaspora.
Rev. Obadiah Musindo is the Founder and President of Destiny of Afrika Network, which is behind an ambitious housing project, which has entered its second phase, with 5,000 housing stands set to be developed.
Rev Musindo’s goal is to deliver affordable housing to those in need, with the project being rolled out in phases across various towns, including Mutare, Chegutu, Kadoma, Bindura, Chinhoyi, and Bulawayo . The broader vision is to provide housing for 100,000 homeless Zimbabweans by 2030
However, the project has been marred by controversy, with some senior officials under investigation for alleged corruption. Despite this, Rev Musindo remains committed to the project’s goals, which align with the government’s vision.
“There are two senior officials whom I entrusted by giving task as projects managers who have been siphoning the projects funds into their accounts and they are under probe by Zimbabwe Anti corruption commission (ZACC),” explained Rev Musindo.
The two officials under ZACC probe who are implicated in the alleged housing financial scandals are Wilson Masokowere the projects manager and Temba Sauramba.
Regardless of the shenanigans done by these two officials, Rev Musindo is advising all home seekers to remain resolute as the long arm of the law is doing it’s best to investigate everything to make the project a success.
