DJ Ollah 7 Receives Death Threats After Explosive Holy Ten Interview

Popular podcaster DJ Ollah 7 has revealed that he’s been receiving death threats following his controversial interview with rapper Holy Ten.

The interview, which premiered on YouTube earlier this week, stirred up tension in the entertainment industry after Holy Ten launched a scathing attack on fellow artists. His remarks didn’t sit well with many, including National Arts Merit Awards (NAMA) nominee and skit maker Mama Vee, who has since taken legal action against the Pressure hitmaker.

However, it seems the backlash hasn’t been limited to Holy Ten alone—DJ Ollah 7 himself is now feeling the heat. The former Star FM presenter took to Facebook on Saturday to reveal that he’s been threatened over the interview.

While he didn’t name anyone, the award-winning journalist made it clear that he was not running from the police. He also advised the aggrieved parties to confront Holy Ten directly instead of targeting him.

DJ Ollah 7 wrote:

“I will never evade the police, I’m a law-abiding citizen and an accredited journalist who is simply doing his job. Sending death threats to me will not make it easier. Why not face a person who even asked to be sued publicly because he said he has the evidence?”

Zimbos Respond to DJ Ollah 7’s Claims

In the comments, Zimbabweans advised Ollah 7 to change his podcast’s approach and discuss topical issues rather than entertainment gossip. Some urged him not to give in to the death and legal threats.

“Ollah, is this podcast bringing uniting news to the country or just gossip? For me, bring things that concern citizens rather than gossip.”
