Scottland FC Kadoma Chapter Confident of Victory Over Highlanders on Sunday
By Thomas Faranando
The stage is set for an electrifying encounter in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) as Scottland FC travels to Bulawayo to face off against Highlanders at Barbourfields Stadium on Sunday.
The Kadoma Scottland FC supporters’ chapter, led by Elijah Tambala and deputized by Costa Munjanganja, is riding high on confidence after three consecutive games at Rufaro Stadium in Harare. The chairperson of the supporters’ group boldly declared, “We’re going to invade Bulawayo on Sunday and beat Highlanders.”
Team president Hon. Pedzisayi ‘Scott’ Sakupwanya has also made a bold prediction, stating that Scottland FC will emerge victorious with a 4-0 scoreline. National president of Scottland fc supporters, Getrude Magama echoed this sentiment, expressing high team spirits and citing the team’s belief that Bulawayo is their second home. “We will not lose to Highlanders in Bulawayo, despite it being their home,” she said.
However, Highlanders supporters in Kadoma are not intimidated by Scottland FC’s confidence. “We are the Bosso, and we will not be defeated on our home turf,” said Luke Dube. “Scottland FC may have had a good run recently, but they will be in for a surprise on Sunday.”
Another Highlanders supporter added, “We have been watching Scottland FC’s games, and we know their strengths and weaknesses. We will be ready for them, and we will come out on top.”
As the two teams prepare to clash, the question on everyone’s mind is: will Scottland FC’s confidence translate to a victory, or will Highlanders prove to be too strong on their home turf? The Kadoma chapter’s vice-chair has also weighed in on the upcoming match, expressing their unwavering confidence in their team’s victory.
The answer will be revealed on Sunday when the two teams take to the field. One thing is certain, however: this PSL clash promises to be an exhilarating encounter that will keep fans on the edge of their seats.
