Chiragwi and Navaya scoop monthly PSL awards

NGEZI Platinum Stars coach Takesure Chiragwi has been voted Premier Soccer League (PSL) Coach of The Month for March.

Chiragwi has managed a four-match unbeaten run in the league, a performance that has seen his side seating on the summit of the log table.

The Mhondoro-based side is one of the four teams yet to taste defeat in the league, the other three being MWOS, Dynamos and FC Platinum.

Ngezi recorded a false start into the league, after a 1-1 draw against Kwekwe United on match-day one before winning its last three encounters against Green Fuel, Scottland F.C and Triangle.

Chiragwi was voted Coach of The Month ahead of MWOS FC coach Lloyd Mutasa, who has managed eight points from four matches.

Meanwhile, TelOne striker Washington Navaya has scooped the league’s Player of The Month award.

The veteran forward banged four goals in four matches, the highest by any player so far in the league. _*NewZimbabwe*_
