Harare- Azam TV on Friday rewarded its loyal subscribers by giving different range of prizes depending on how frequently they have been religiously subscribing to AzamTv.

Technical services manager, Munyaradzi Kapfudza, said the satellite broadcaster was making serious progress in bringing Zimbabwean-focused content to its platform and therefore they felt it prudent to reward those who supported them.

Speaking at a subscriber prize-giving ceremony on Friday in Harare, Kapfudza said that Azam TV now carried several local stations, including Keyona TV from Bulawayo, unique to Azam alongside state-owned ZBC.

“We have been working tirelessly to ensure we customise our content so it can appeal to our local customers. For instance,we have most of our local stations available on our platform including Keyona Tv from Bulawayo which is not accessible on other satellite television bouquets besides the government-owned Transmedia decorder,”said Kapfudza.

He said live Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League (PSL) matches may soon be available directly on Azam TV, pending final approvals. Currently, many games can be watched through existing channels like ZBC.

“We have a deal in Tanzania to beam live league soccer matches and we are also committed to do the same here once everything has been put in place by the local league administrators,” said Kapfudza.

Meanwhile AzamTv subscribers can view the matches on local stations like ZBC which are beaming some of the games.

Winners will collect their prizes at local offices.
