Alois Bunjira Involved in Car Accident

Former Warriors midfielder, Alois Bunjira, was reportedly involved in a car accident at approximately 10 a.m. on Saturday 16 August 2025 (today) near St. Faith’s High School, about 8 km from Rusape on the Rusape–Nyanga Road. According to reports, the Caps United FC’s Marketing Manager was en route to his rural home in Honde Valley for route certification to qualify the Honde Valley Marathon for the Comrades Marathon.

He sustained injuries and was reportedly rushed to Rusape General Hospital for immediate medical attention. No further details—such as the extent of the injuries or other parties involved—have been confirmed. Caps United FC has not yet issued an official statement.
