“We Accept Any Form of Payments”: SRDC CEO Shadaya
Sanyati Rural District Council (SRDC) Chief Executive Officer, Achim Shadaya has revealed that his organization,just any other government entity, is open to accepting all modes of payment from it’s valued stakeholders.
Shadaya was responding to questions from the media after some Sanyati district residents have been failing to pay council rates and tarrifs through mobile phone platforms.
“Ndokumbirawo kuti Sanyati District Rural Council yedu ibvume Ecocash ku every transaction,coz munhu anenge achida kubhadhara marates nemari iri mufoni ari Bulawayo,ponzi no Ecocash,” said one Sanyati resident.
Another Sanyati resident wrote,”zvakanaka kuti tiwane mhinduro kubva kuSRDC maringe nenyaya yekuti tishandise Ecocash or One Money”.
However Sanyati Rural District Council CEO said that all multiple modes payment were available at Sanyati Rural District Council.
“Here at Sanyati Rural District Council we accept all modes of payment, be it Swipe,Bank transfers or the use of mobile phone. We have our Biller Codes available at all council offices,here in Kadoma and at Arda offices. Our valued residents and stakeholders are free to use their preference in paying for our services.
“We’ve Finance Ecocash Biller-179309, Lands Ecocash Biller Code-179457, CDF Ecocash Biller Code-179308 and the Housing Ecocash Biller Code-130155,so we urge our valued residents stakeholders to use those Biller codes to settle their bills,”said Shadaya.
With an estimated population of about 150 000, Sanyati Rural district stretches from the City of Kadoma up to the boundaries of Making, Chegutu, Zvimba and Gokwe making its catcment area very big and the availability of a reliable mobile phone mode of payment will enhance its revenue collection base.
