Mai Titi Pays School Fees for Young Zimdancehall Artist ‘Ngwere Diki’

Celebrated socialite Felista Murata popularly known as Mai TT has stepped in to support rising young star Ngwere Diki, covering his 2027 school fees for all three terms.

Taking to his official Facebook page, the eight-year-old entertainer expressed his gratitude with a heartfelt message:

“Thank you Mhamha Mai Ts Diaries nekuuya kuzondibhadharira school fees ya2027 All 3 Terms. Mwari vakuitirei zvakanaka ❤️👏.”

The young artist spoke openly about his family’s struggles in an interview on DJ Ollah’s podcast, particularly highlighting the physically demanding work his father endures, and appealing for national support.

In response to his story, support has poured in from various corners of Zimbabwe.

Recently, Dr. Elder Kudakwashe Tagwirei once again demonstrated his long-standing commitment to uplifting lives by donating 10,000 bricks, construction materials, and pledging to cover Ngwere Diki’s school fees.

The donation will help his family build a permanent home while also ensuring continued access to education.

In addition, Ngwere Diki has also begun aviation training at CATS Aviation Training Academy, courtesy of another well-wisher.

For those who have followed his journey, it’s clear that Ngwere Diki is no ordinary child.

Despite being only eight years old, his performances have captivated national audiences, earning him the affectionate title of an “old man in a child’s body.”

His wisdom, charisma, and lyrical dexterity have prompted fans across Zimbabwe to jokingly suggest he may have “lived before.”

“Ngwere Diki anenge akamborarama kare” has become a popular phrase on social media, reflecting the public’s amazement at his mature insights and stage command.

His early tracks, including the viral hit “Handidi Kurwadziswa” and the emotional “Vabereki Vangu”, quickly made waves across platforms like TikTok and Facebook.

His now-iconic chant “Ngwere Dza Sangana” sparked national TikTok challenges, drawing in fans from all corners of Zimbabwe and beyond.

Even radio personalities have joined the fun, with one presenter recently asking live on air, “Is Ngwere Diki not just a small elder brother in disguise?”
