Rimuka in 53 run Win Over Takashinga 2

Rimuka Cricket Club continued with their mark in the Cricket National Premier League with a 53 run victory over Takashinga 2 Cricket club in a T20 match played at Kadoma Sports club on Wednesday.
Takashinga 2 won the toss but elected to field, but Rimuka led by Victor Chirwa’s 73 runs off 49 balls, and Nyasha Mayavo’s 75 runs off 42 balls set Rimuka 194 runs for 7 wickets with 12 extra runs in which Takashinga failed to surpass the target from 180 balls.

Takashinga 2’s Tafadzwa Mahachi,second in Takashinga batting order had 40 runs off 33 balls before he was caught by Villan Chuma from a Ollard Dzinokuvara ball. Marshall Takodza on 32 runs was balled out by Frank Mwazviita and failed to put a higher score for Rimuka to chase.
Takashinga had their best man Arineshto Vhezha who shone for the club whose bowling troubled Rimuka’s batsmen which saw Frank Mwazviita going out for a duck.
In attendance to watch Rimuka defeat Takashinga 2 was Mashonaland West Cricket chairperson Blessed Ndushu who said cricket in Mashwest was going in the right direction and his aim was to spread it to all corners of the province.
