BULAWAYO WOMAN STRIPPED NAKED, BEATEN, LEFT FOR DEAD: Victim found with deep head cuts in bushes
A BULAWAYO woman is fighting for her life after she was found naked and bleeding in a bushy area behind Amakhosi Cultural Centre in a case of attempted murder.
According to Bulawayo deputy police spokesperson Assistant Inspector Thandekile Ndlovu, the woman was discovered by a 65-year-old man from Makokoba around 8AM on Sunday. He was walking through the bushy path when he stumbled upon the shocking sight — a woman lying motionless, struggling to breathe.
“She had some deep cuts on the right side of the head, forehead, back of the head and a swollen right eye,” said Asst Insp Ndlovu in a statement.
The woman’s undergarments and black tackies were found beside her, suggesting she may have been attacked and stripped before being left for dead.
“She was then ferried to Mpilo Hospital for medical attention where she is admitted,” she said.

“We appeal to members of the public with information which may lead to the arrest of the accused person to come forward or report to any nearest police station,” said Asst Insp Ndlovu.
