Kadoma—Father Flower Group of Schools has once again taken centre stage after posting exceptional results in the 2025 Grade 7 ZIMSEC examinations, with learners achieving outstanding 6 and 7 Units across all its primary schools. The performance has strengthened the institution’s standing as one of Kadoma’s fastest-growing centres of academic excellence—remarkable for a school established just four years ago.

The institution’s rise is attributed to a dedicated team of teachers, committed leadership, strong parental involvement and a culture of disciplined, highly motivated learners.

In a bold and community-enticing gesture, the Director General of Father Flower Group of Schools, Dr Jimmy Lemekani-Waya, announced that beginning next year, parents will enjoy FREE holiday trips to destinations of their choice as part of the school’s unique family-engagement programme.

This comes as the school expands its transport fleet, recently receiving its third school bus. Two other buses within the fleet are dedicated to school trips, key activities and hiring services, while two additional buses will be delivered next year, strictly for ferrying learners. This investment underscores the institution’s commitment to safe and reliable transportation.

Beyond transport, Father Flower Group of Schools is undertaking major infrastructural upgrades. At Ngezi Institute, work is already underway on state-of-the-art sporting grounds, including swimming pools, as well as modern science laboratories and libraries, all aimed at transforming the institution into a fully equipped learning hub.

Teachers are also celebrating a major breakthrough, with Dr Waya confirming that beginning next year, all staff members will start receiving holiday salaries—a move expected to boost morale and improve staff retention after enduring five challenging years of service sacrifices.

During the celebrations, decorated and disciplined SDC Chairperson, Mr Thomas Chaplin, urged parents to remain united and steadfast in safeguarding the school from detractors.
“Progressive parents must stay focused and continue protecting the Father Flower vision,” he said.

The school has also strengthened partnerships that benefit learners, parents and the surrounding community. Father Flower Group of Schools has teamed up with DCK Group of Companies for business collaborations that will open avenues for parental and youth empowerment. Plans are also underway to introduce primary, secondary and tertiary scholarships, ensuring learners from all backgrounds are supported.

Proud parent Mrs Jeke, whose child achieved top marks, said the school’s environment is unmatched.
“I’m not taking my child to another school for Form One; he will stay at Father Flower for his O Level. The school is moulding disciplined learners,” she said.

In a show of gratitude to parents, the school has officially launched a free-of-charge parent vacation programme, themed “Parents Need A Break”. The initiative will sponsor trips to major tourist destinations such as Victoria Falls, Nyanga Mountains, Great Zimbabwe, Hwange National Park and other popular holiday resorts.

With its innovative community engagement, expanding facilities, strong academic record and clear commitment to empowering both learners and parents, Father Flower Group of Schools is not just educating , it is reshaping the educational and social landscape of Kadoma.

Parents across Kadoma and beyond are encouraged to join the growing Father Flower family as more empowerment programs are coming and give their children a solid foundation for a successful future.
