AI TikTok Creator David Nhunzva Deletes Account After Police Summons
Dr. David Nhunzva has deleted his TikTok account days after the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP), through its official handle @PoliceZimbabwe, directed him to report to the CID Law and Order section to assist with investigations.
Nhunzva had been using the platform to post AI-generated videos, which police allege were designed to tarnish the image of the ZRP.
Authorities have not disclosed the specific nature of the content under investigation, but confirmed that the matter is being handled by the CID Law and Order unit.
The sudden disappearance of Nhunzva’s TikTok account has raised questions, particularly as the page had been rapidly gaining traction, attracting thousands of views and a growing following.
