Security Guard Jailed for 15 Years For Abduction And Rape
A 42-year-old security guard named Doubt Dzenga has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for the abduction and repeated r@p£ of a 16-year-old girl.
The incident took place in Dorowa after Dzenga lured the girl from a bus stop on the night of January 17, 2026.
According to the Rusape Magistrates’ Court, Dzenga approached the teenager around 10 PM while she was waiting for her brother-in-law.
He convinced her to come to his house, which was about 200 meters away.
Once inside, he r@p£d her and kept her locked up for three days.
The ordeal ended on January 20, 2026, when police received tips from the public about the victim’s location.
They raided Dzenga’s home and arrested him.
The National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe confirmed the details of the case, highlighting that Dzenga had abducted the victim under false pretenses and held her captive.
