WOMAN SNATCHES NEIGHBOUR’S HUSBAND IN MABVUKU
A DARING Mabvuku woman has snatched her neighbour’s husband claiming she felt the man was being ill-treated.
She says she is not going to give him up anytime soon. Chenai Tapfuma is accused of wrecking the nine-year marriage of her neighbour, Fortunate Refu, to Bruce Matawu.
Bruce and Fortunate have a two-year-old son. The dramatic split between Bruce and his wife, has stunned neighbours, who say the marriage collapsed after years of arguments over infidelity and money. Bruce claims Fortunate treated him badly and accuses her of repeatedly misusing the couple’s savings.
“I couldn’t take it anymore. I felt disrespected and my savings which we meant to buy a residential stand kept disappearing. I moved out and I am renting my own apartment in Mabvuku. The whole community can testify what kind of a woman Mai Juju (Fortunate) was to me because she could attack me on the streets and would always quarrel with me,” said Bruce.
But while the marriage was falling apart, a new romance was quietly flourishing just next door.
Chenai has proudly claimed Bruce as her man and she is not ashamed about it.
“Bruce is the sweetest man alive.
“People can talk but I’m not giving him up anytime soon. Bruce is the most handsome, humble, intelligent, honest, charming, sexy person I have ever met. Mai Juju lost a jewel, he is mine now no wonder ari kurwadziwa because aisagona kuchengeta murume ne marriage yake.
“Bruce is a man and a half,” said Chenai.

Mai Juju has been heartbroken by the sudden break-up while Bruce and Chenai appear determined to ignore the gossip.
