FROM PROTESTS TO PAYCHECKS: CDE JIMAYI MUDUVURI CHALLENGES ZIMBABWEANS TO BUILD, NOT BOYCOTT AHEAD OF ZAS 116

HEEDING THE PRESIDENT’S CALL: PRODUCTIVITY OVER POPULISM

Prominent Kadoma businessman and philanthropist, _Cde Jimayi Muduvuri_, Founder of _Muduvuri Pan-African Referral Hospital_ and its clinic network, has thrown his weight behind _His Excellency President Cde Dr ED Mnangagwa’s_ directive: Make Money, Not Noise.

Cde Muduvuri says the moment demands sweat, not slogans — and he warns that every placard raised in protest is a shovel left idle, every shutdown, a self-inflicted wound that bleeds the economy dry.

“We salute the good work of the Second Republic under His Excellency President Cde Dr ED Mnangagwa and his team. The President is steering Zimbabwe toward the land of milk and honey as we pursue Vision 2030,”_ said Cde Jimayi Muduvuri.

“This is the time to trade placards for ploughs. Every Zimbabwean must convert the President’s mantra of Make Money, Not Noise into tangible work,”_ Muduvuri urged.

But his voice hardened when he addressed the looming threat of the 31 July 2026 shutdown.

“A single day of national shutdown costs our economy millions in lost productivity, cancelled orders, and broken supply chains. It sends a message across the world that Zimbabwe is a land of chaos, not a land of opportunity. Investors who were ready to sign agreements pack their briefcases and fly elsewhere. Tourists who dreamed of our waterfalls and wildlife cancel their bookings. The damage is not just in lost dollars today — it is in shattered trust for years to come,” said Muduvuri, his tone both urgent and tender.

He drew a vivid metaphor from the builder’s craft:

“You can not fix a roof by destroying the building. A nation that burns its own bridges to protest a pothole will never cross the river. We have become people obsessed with demonstrations instead of dialogue, development, and production. The streets are full of slogans, but the granaries are empty. That must end.”

His call comes as some groups push for a national “shutdown” on _31 July 2026_ over _Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3 (CAB3)_. Leadership is responding with a call to work — and Muduvuri is its most passionate apostle.

A NATION UNDER ATTACK: PHYSICAL AND SPIRITUAL

The Pan-Africanist warned that forces are at play to derail Zimbabwe’s economic rise.

“There are dark forces, both seen and unseen, working to sabotage our journey to an upper-middle-income economy by 2030. This calls for prayer and vigilance,” stated Muduvuri.

He drew a clear line:

“The path is unmistakable. While the President leads us to prosperity, those advocating a 31 July shutdown seek to reverse gains. Let us not be misled. Zimbabweans must choose dialogue over demonstrations. A protest gives you nothing but noise. A conversation gives you a deal.”_

ZAS 116: DEALS OVER DEBATES

With _Zimbabwe Agricultural Show 116_ set for _24-29 August 2026_ under _“Powering Growth: Where Agriculture, Technology and Commerce Converge,”_ Cde Muduvuri said the show must be about contracts, not conflict.

He challenged farmers, women, youth, and industry to use ZAS as a launchpad for investment, financing, and exports.

“Agriculture is the backbone of Vision 2030. Livestock, horticulture, beekeeping, fisheries, flowers, and agro-processing must drive us from a $3.2 billion to a $15.8 billion sector,” noted Muduvuri

He added with a flourish:

“At ZAS, let us lay down our megaphones and pick up our calculators. Let us sign agreements, not arguments. Let the world see a Zimbabwe that builds, not a Zimbabwe that burns.”_

HEALTH: FUELING THE WORKFORCE

Linking health to national output, Cde Muduvuri announced a service drive for the show.

“At ZAS 116, Muduvuri Pan-African Referral Hospital will provide free medical services to all attendees,”_ he revealed.

And beyond the show:

“We will continue offering free healthcare to Veterans of the Liberation Struggle, War Collaborators, People With Disabilities, and our Senior Citizens every day. A nation that honours its builders is a nation that will prosper,” he said.

“You can not build an economy with a sick population. Health is wealth, and health is production,”added Muduvuri.

He then tied the body politic to the farmer’s field:

“A healthy farmer harvests more. A healthy worker produces more. A healthy nation does not have time to protest — it has time to produce. Let us heal ourselves, then heal our economy.”

AMBASSADOR OF HOPE PERSPECTIVE: BUILD, DON’T BREAK

_Boycotts don’t build dams. Labor does._
_Hashtags don’t harvest maize. Farmers do._
_Shutdowns don’t honour heroes. Service does._

The president has set the tone. Cde Muduvuri has amplified it. Now it’s our turn to act.

From Beitbridge to Binga, from Harare to Hwange:

• Silence the noise. Start the engines.
• Choose conversation over confrontation.
• Go to ZAS 116 to trade, not to argue.
• Pray for Zimbabwe and work for Zimbabwe.
• Uplift our liberators and vulnerable with dignity and care.

From storage tanks to supply chains. From street protests to soil preparation. From empty talk to full granaries.

The assignment is clear: Make money, not noise.
