Prophet Angel relocates from UK, reveals list of politicians supporting corruption in Zimbabwe
Uebert Angel, a controversial figure in Zimbabwean politics and religion, recently explained his decision to leave the United Kingdom for Zimbabwe following the airing of Al Jazeera’s Gold Mafia documentary.
This documentary implicated him as a key player in a syndicate involved in looting central reserves of African countries and rigging elections, using religious justifications for these actions. In the documentary, Angel, whose real name is Uebert Mudzanire, was shown offering to launder vast sums of money while boasting about his connections with high-ranking officials, including Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa. Angel claimed that his remarks during the undercover operation were part of an intelligence operation, asserting that he was merely “playing along” with the supposed investors. However, this explanation has been met with skepticism, particularly from Zimbabwe’s Central Intelligence Organization (CIO), which dismissed his claims as unconvincing14.
During a recent sermon, Angel articulated his fears about returning to the UK, suggesting that it posed a direct threat to his life. He expressed a belief that remaining in the UK would leave him vulnerable and potentially lead to his demise. His statements included:
Sense of Vulnerability: Angel conveyed that being in an environment where he felt undermined could erode his spirit and purpose, indicating that losing hope could lead to metaphorical death.
Fear of Replacement: He emphasized that he could not remain in a place where he felt he was being replaced by others vying for power or influence. He metaphorically described London as “too small” for him and those opposing him to coexist safely.
Survival Instincts: His rhetoric suggested a deep-seated need for self-preservation, framing his relocation as essential for continuing his mission without the threat of being sidelined or eliminated
