Missing Bulawayo teenage girl ‘Thandiwe Moyo’ found after one month of searching living with her boyfriend

Seventeen-year-old Thandiwe Moyo, who had been missing for nearly a month, has been found alive in Barham Green, Bulawayo.

She was discovered living with a 25-year-old man, who has since been arrested and is being detained at Donnington Police Station. Authorities confirmed that he is expected to appear in court soon.

The breakthrough came after a vigilant social media user recognised Thandiwe from a photo that had been widely shared online.

Acting on the tip, her family, together with police officers, visited the address in Barham Green, where they successfully located the teenager.

Thandiwe has since been reunited with her relieved family.

However, her disappearance came at a great cost—she missed her O-Level examinations during the period she was missing.
