Jah Prayzah unveils star-studded line-up for HICC shutdown

Contemporary musician Jah Prayzah has revealed a blockbuster line-up of supporting acts for the grand finale of his Mukudzeyi World Tour.

The tour concludes at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC) this Saturday, following a global run showcasing his latest album, Ndini Mukudzeyi.

To set the stage for the night, a mix of top-tier musicians and DJs has been announced, including Seh Calaz, Tammy Moyo, Tocky Vibes, Pro Beatz and Culture Love.

They will be joined by Godfather Templeman, Young Gemini, Malloti, DJ Iroq, Abisha Palmer and Chillmaster.

The tour kicked off with the album launch in Harare on May 3.

It then moved to the international stage, stopping in Wolverhampton, the United Kingdom, on May 25 and concluding the European leg in Düsseldorf, Germany, on May 31.

Although the artiste was scheduled to perform in the United States in early July — with dates in Washington, DC and Dallas — the leg was unfortunately cancelled due to visa complications.

However, the tour resumed with a performance in Toronto, Canada, on July 11, followed by a show in Japan on July 15.

The African leg commenced in October, featuring performances in Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa.

The tour will now culminate in a massive homecoming at the HICC on November 29.

This follows the success of last year’s “HICC Shutdown” on November 30, where Jah Prayzah led an array of stars — including Feli Nandi, Freeman and Killer T — to usher revellers into the festive mood. *_-Newsday_*
