Sanyati Baptist High School’s light shines bright in ‘O’ and ‘A’ Level Zimsec exams

With a 100 percent pass rate at A Level, Sanyati Baptist High has maintained its leading role as a top school in Mashonaland West Province.
Out of the 64 students who sat for the November 2025 examinations, 17 had 15 points or more. Out of the 17, some sat for four subject and achieved 20 points.
Headmaster Pearson Wasarirevhu said he was pleased with the achievements of the Class of 2025. “The 100 percent pass rate makes us the top school in the district, where our competitors, like Jameson High School, could only manage a 70 percent pass rate.
“We are also among the top schools in the province where a number of schools achieved the same pass rate,” he said.
The ‘O’ Level students achieved a 97,2-pass rate. A total of 107 sat for the 2025 Zimsec examinations, and 104 passed.
Mr Wasarirevhu attributed the good results to hard work on the part of the teachers and children.
“We also have a conducive learning environment. Our children are focused. We never had any child who was expelled from school for bad behavior. If you visit the school during learning times you will be forgiven for thinking there are no children here. There will be peace and quite as the children concentrate on their studies,” he said.
“We are also a church school and we are powered by God. We always pray for the success of the school and the children.”
Mr Wasarirevhu also thanked parents for the support they render the school. “The majority of parents pay their fees on time, enabling us to have resources to procure products for use in the school.
Sanyati Baptist High School is a co-educational boarding and day school located in the Sanyati region of Mashonaland West Province. It is operated under the guidance of the Baptist Church, the school upholds strong Christian values while providing a well-rounded education.
The institution is located about 90 km from Kadoma, with a challenging road leading to the school. Despite the difficult journey, the school is well-constructed, providing a stable environment for students.
