Mhondoro Mbaira – In a whirlwind of development initiatives, Member of Parliament for Mhondoro Mbaira, Honorable Chamu Chiwanza, has sent waves of hope through the constituency, injecting a dose of adrenaline into the community’s stalled infrastructure. With his own pocket bearing the brunt, the MP has donated bicycles worth a staggering $6000 to village headmen, empowering them to navigate the constituency’s rugged terrain with ease.
But that’s not all – Hon Chiwanza has also rolled up his sleeves to tackle the constituency’s crippling road crisis. A critical road, ravaged by relentless rains and rendered impassable, is set for rehabilitation, thanks to the MP’s generous donation of fuel. The community is abuzz with excitement, hailing Chiwanza’s bold move as a game-changer.
“Our children are suffering, Honourable,” pleaded village head Leonard Zinhu, highlighting the plow-through- mud-or-sun scenario faced by school kids trekking over 10 kilometers to the nearest secondary school. Chiwanza listened, and action followed.
Mambo Nherera (Jacob Makore) summed up the community’s gratitude: “Tinoda kukutendai, Honourable Chiwanza. Your dedication to our community is unmatched. We’re grateful for your support.”
For Chiwanza, this is par for the course. Aligning his efforts with President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s vision 2030, he declared, “We’re working hard to ensure our roads are rehabilitated, and our schools are equipped. This is just the beginning.”
As the people of Mhondoro Mbaira breathe a sigh of relief, one thing is clear: Chiwanza is charging ahead, leaving no stone unturned, and no one behind.
