Another Two People Killed And Four Injured In Chivhu-Gutu Road Accident
Two people died, and four others were injured in a road traffic accident on Sunday, 5 April, along the Chivhu‑Gutu Road.
The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) said the driver of a Toyota Hilux, which was carrying five passengers and heading towards Chivhu, lost control of the vehicle at the 11 km peg.
“The vehicle veered off the road to the right and overturned several times before landing on its wheels,” the ZRP said.
“As a result of the crash, two people died on the spot, while four others were injured.
“The bodies of the victims were taken to Chivhu General Hospital mortuary for postmortem.”
