G & T Mining Eyes Super 8 Cup Tourney

Debutantes MCM Estate Northern Region Division One League outfit G & T Mining coach,Ikabort Masocha, has declared his intentions for a dance in the Super Eight Tournament during the mid-season break after his charges saw off Marere Sanyati one nil at Rimuka Stadium last Friday to move up to the fourth position with 10 points, one point shy of logleaders, Harare City.
G & T Mining, the new boys from the small town of Chegutu came into the country’s second tier of the domestic league after securing the franchise of Ngo’mbeyaora.
The club has scored six goals conceding three and have managed to amass 10 points in five league fixtures.
“We celebrate the work ethics by the boys, we hope and believe that they’ll continue to grind results like this one and that consistency will take us to where we we’re trying to arrive come mid-season. There is a knockout cup tournament coming, which is a Top 8 Cup, and we want to be in there,so as to continue to have competitive matches, which is the only way for us to continue to improve,” Masocha said.
With the likes of Panashe Mushonga, a proven goalpoacher, credit goes to him for continuing notching important goals for us,”said Masocha,G & T Mining Head Coach.
The much travelled coach, Masocha, had a stint with former Premiership side,Yadah, Harare City and one Eswathini club.
