20-Year-Old Claims He’s Prophet Madungwe’s Biological Son, Speaks Out on Marriage Plans
A 20-year-old man has made headlines after sitting down with popular Zimbabwean online personality Uncle Saint TV, claiming to be the biological son of a prophet he described using the Shona phrase “vanogara vachienda kudenga vaya” — a reference widely understood to point to self-styled cleric Talent Madungwe, who has previously denied any such relationship.
Speaking during the interview, the young man reportedly said he is not interested in any money from businessman Sir Wicknell Chivayo, addressing recent comments in which Prophet Madungwe denied that the young man was his son. He insisted his motives had nothing to do with seeking financial favours and has nothing to do with the businessman.
He also used the platform to address social media personality Yahya Goodvibes directly, saying she should “stay out of people’s business, (Ibva pazvinhu zvevanhu)” adding that the matter “has nothing to do with her.”
On a lighter note, the interview touched on his personal life — the 20-year-old shared that he is looking to settle down and named two women he’s interested in marrying, Atenda Chinx Fanbase and Namwari Mutarisi.
It’s important to note these are claims made by the interviewee himself and have not been independently verified. Prophet Madungwe has previously denied being his biological father.
The ObserverZim will follow up as more details emerge.
