Harare – The 19th edition of the Sanganai Hlanganani Dzimbahwe Tourism Expo will be held in Masvingo from 9 to 12 September 2026. The Zimbabwe Tourism Authority will host the event at the Gymkhana Events and Conference Centre.

Sanganai Hlanganani is Zimbabwe’s main international tourism trade fair held every year. The name comes from three local languages. Sanganai means meet in Shona. Hlanganani means come together in Ndebele. Dzimbahwe means house of stones in Shona, referring to the Great Zimbabwe monuments.

This year’s expo will take place in Masvingo, a city known for the Great Zimbabwe ruins which are more than 800 years old. Organisers say the location will help showcase Zimbabwe’s heritage to local and international visitors.

The expo brings together tourism buyers, tour operators, hotels, airlines and other players in the tourism industry. They meet to do business and market Zimbabwe as a tourism destination. Past editions have helped secure tourism deals and promote the country as a place for meetings and conferences.

Registration for exhibitors is already open. People can contact the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority on exhibitions@ztazim.co.zw for more information.

The event will be promoted under the themes Experience Zimbabwe, Our Heritage, Nhaka Yedu and Ilifa Lethu. The countdown to the event has begun.
