“Ndakadyiswa”: Guruve man dumps his first wife to go stay with his second wife and her boyfriend

A Guruve man who claims to have been bewitched has dumped his first wife and followed his second wife who eloped to her boyfriend.

Edward Mavhunga, who stays in Tagara village in Guruve, has stirred controversy by leaving his first wife and children to pursue his second wife, Tanyaradzwa Mupasu (22), who recently eloped to the house of Evidence Zindoga in Marimahoko Village near Mudhindo. This was after Evidence impregnated his second wife, Tanyaradzwa.

Edward and Tanyaradzwa have two children. Speaking more on him staying at Tanyaradzwa’s boyfriend’s place, he said:

“I am at Evidence’s house as we speak where my second wife eloped to. Ndavaudza kuti ndatotevera mudzimai wangu kuti ndigare naye. Ndarariswa mukitchen.

The parents of Tanyaradzwa’s boyfriend disliked this development and negotiated with Edward to go home:

“Evidence’s parents pleaded with me to leave and take my case to village elders or my in-laws. Tanyaradzwa has been bedding several villagers, including influential people, and one of her uncles.”

Claims Of Bewitchment

The revelation that Tanyaradzwa allegedly used charms to manipulate Edward’s affections has added a layer of intrigue to the story.

Edward told H-Metro that Tanyaradzwa bewitched him and used a charm to mess with his manhood. She sorted him so that he cannot be intimate with his first wife. Aggrieved by this, Edward decided to follow his second wife to her boyfriend after she eloped.

He said:

“I confronted her over this and she confessed. She used some charms on me not to be intimate with my first wife. That is why I decided to go and stay with Evidence and her. Evidence’s parents pleaded with me and I agreed to leave and approach my village head over the matter.”

Edward hopes to have the village elders resolve the crisis and offer a solution.
