Miniskirts will get you raped – Chief Charumbira
Chief Fortune Charumbira, who is also a Senator has advised local women against wearing mini-skirts because they are not decent and they attract men who may end up raping them.
He added that miniskirts are not part of Zimbabwe’s culture but are for white women.
He said this when he addressed people gathered at the installation of Chief Wedza born Taruva Moyo in Zvishavane on 1 April 1949.
Charumbira also challenged traditional leaders to take an active role in fighting against drugs
“Let us leave some of this culture to white people. Our women should dress decently. When ladies wear mini-skirts they attract men and this causes rape cases,” said Charumbira. *_-Masvingo Mirror_*
