We Shall Recover All ZEXCOM Properties:Mashayamombe

Newly-elected ZEXCOM board chairman Crispen Mashayamombe has declared that during his tenure as the boss of the organisation of the liberation fighters they will reposes all the properties they are entitled to.
Zimbabwe Ex-Combatants Foundation Investments Fund(LTD was formed in 1997 after the liberation fighters were given US 50-000 gratuities each by the government of Zimbabwe . They pooled their assets and properties together as investments for their future and for their children under their late leader Dr Chenjerai Hunzvi.
Since the inception of ZEXCOM , the organisation did not hold any Annual General Meeting due to some in-house conflicts until the intervention of the High Court.
Bulawayo High Court Judge Justice Dube Banda ordered that an ZEXCOM AGM be held on 29 October 2022 but it was postponed to 26 November 2022 because the date was clashing with ZANU PF National Congress.
The congress was successfully held at Mkoba Teachers‘ College where Mr Crispen Mashayamombe (pictured) was elected as the board chairman. All the 10 provinces were represented they include:Moffat Ndlovu from Mat South who was elected vice board chairman , Charles Simba Rushwaya secretary from Midlands ,Ruth Kumbirai Mhlandhla from Manicaland for finance , Abel Mashava from Masvingo was elected as assets recovery officer , mining is Constance Karuma from Mashonaland West ,security is Charles Chifamba from Mash Central ,Welfare officer is Pios Stefan Mumbiro from Harare Province and finally Land Development officer Simolo Tlou from Matebeleland South.
After the successfully AGM , ZEXCOM board members met on 20 December at Belvedere Teachers‘ College to deliberate on task which each member was tasked . ‘ With this new ZEXCOM board , we shall trace and recover all our properties , we have been fighting thick and think with people who had been trying to scandalously own our hard earned properties ’ said Cde Mashayamombe.
ZEXCOM for several years was put under liquidation until 2019 after the lawyers of the organisation successfully won the case at the High Court which stopped the liquidation.Some properties that they have managed to win back is Equity House a building which is in Harare Central Business District which they have renovated to the state of the art .
ZEXCOM properties are now being managed by CANNONGATE properties (PVT)LTD which is a property managent company and it started by managing Equity House. They are still some unresolved property wrangle between ZEXCOM and many other properties like the one situated at number 120 Jason Moyo Avenue in Bulawayo.
Others properties are in Beitbridge, Murehwa and Masvingo, to mention just a few.
As for now ZEXCOM board has so far registered three subsidary companies; ZEXCOM security company , ZEXCOM mining company and ZEXCOM Property development company.
