Horror as 16-uear old boy kills 19-year old neighbour over a misunderstanding

A 16-year-old juvenile reportedly killed a 19-year-old after having a misunderstanding over an undisclosed issue.

Police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the incident and said investigations were underway.

“Police in Ruwa are investigating a case of murder which occurred at a house in Solomio Park, Ruwa,” he said.

“A male juvenile (16) stabbed Theionvus Mhungira (19) with a kitchen knife on the neck after a misunderstanding over an undisclosed issue.”

Meanwhile in Gokwe, Mavis Murungwa (63) was arrested over the murder of her husband Tinaye Goka (63).

“Murungwa and her granddaughter (16) took turns to hit Goka with a log and cooking stick indiscriminately all over the body after a domestic dispute,” Ass Comm Nyathi said.

“Goka had destroyed kitchen utensils and a goat pen built by Murungwa, he was found dead near a borehole.”
