Nomadic gaffer, Richard Chunga has taken over the reigns at ambitious Zifa Northern Region Division One side Come Again Football Club for their 2024 season, an official statement has announced.

Chunga, who snatches the button stick from Dynamos son Bigboy Mawiwi, parted ways with Chinhoyi Stars last season after an unimpressive set of results.

He comes back to neighbours of a club he once coached in the 2022 season.

Chunga was head coach at Chegutu Pirates prior to their promotion into the top flight this season. His reign at the Chegutu based outfit was low-key, leading to his unceremonious departure.

This time, he brings his voodoo to a soccer mad city that Kadoma is known to be.

He is upbeat ahead of the season kick off. “Kadoma fans are craving for success. I’m aware that I am entering a pressure zone. It’s the nature of the job. However, I want to live up to the task and deliver.

“Like is the case with our promoted rivals – Dzinza for Mombemumunda as wel – I believe the silver lining is also bringing the premiership to the city.”

The club is looking to an ambitious top four finish come end of season.

“The mandate of the new coach is to improve on the log standings and finish among the top four at the end of the season,” the club said in a statement.
