Heartbreaking Accident: 7 lives lost as two buses collide head-on

A devastating accident involving two cross-border buses has resulted in the loss of seven lives, with two additional individuals succumbing to their injuries while receiving medical treatment at the hospital. Superintendent Philisani Ndebele, the Acting Officer Commanding Officer of Beitbridge District, has confirmed the heartbreaking incident to NewsDay.

The collision occurred approximately 10 kilometers outside of Beitbridge and involved buses from City and Blue Circle. Reports suggest that one of the buses collided with a donkey, leading to the tragic chain of events.

Emergency services swiftly responded to the scene, transporting the injured victims to the Beitbridge District Hospital for urgent medical attention.
