Prominent Harare bishop impregnates church member after enjoying unprotected bota, mai mufundisi breathes fire

The hallowed halls of the church, often seen as sanctuaries of moral uprightness and spiritual guidance, have been shaken by a scandal that has left the man of God’s followers questioning their spiritual father’s morality.

Noel Dzimba, a bishop based in Harare, stands accused of neglecting his family and impregnating another woman within his own congregation, a shocking revelation that has exposed the hypocrisy at the heart of his ministry.

The allegations, brought to light in the Harare Civil Court before Magistrate Joana Mukwesha, paint a picture of a man who has betrayed the trust of his wife, Beverly Dzimba, and the congregation he was entrusted to lead. Beverly, seeking an order to compel Noel to provide for his family financially, laid bare the devastating impact of his actions.

“He is a Bishop, but he does not practice what he preaches to his congregation,” she stated, her voice laced with both sorrow and anger. “He impregnated another woman behind my back, and I found out all of this last month. He does not take care of the family, but supports other women in the church.”

Her words, delivered in a court of law, reverberated far beyond the courtroom walls, echoing the disillusionment and betrayal felt by those who had placed their faith in Noel Dzimba’s leadership. The revelation of his infidelity, coupled with the alleged neglect of his family, has cast a shadow of doubt over his ministry, questioning the very foundation of his spiritual authority.

Papa Noel Dzimba, facing the consequences of his actions, denied the accusations, claiming that Beverly mistreats him and has been neglecting him since he was involved in an accident that left him with a disability.

“I paid all her tuition fees for a nursing course before I got injured,” he stated, attempting to deflect blame and portray himself as the wronged party. “When she started working, she started coming home late. She is very disrespectful and does not take care of me as her husband.”

His defence, however, rings hollow in the face of the overwhelming evidence presented by Beverly. Magistrate Mukwesha, recognising the gravity of the situation, ordered Noel to care for his family, while Beverly was instructed to live peacefully with him.
