“Kugara naMainini” – Sparks Explosive Family Feud!

The Mtukudzi family feud has just hit a new high! In a bold move, Selmor Mtukudzi, daughter of the late music icon Oliver Mtukudzi, dropped a bombshell track titled “Kugara naMainini” (Living with Stepmother), and it’s already setting social media ablaze.

The song, released just two hours ago on her Facebook page, dives deep into her strained relationship with stepmother Daisy Mtukudzi, leaving fans with jaws on the floor.

It didn’t take long for fans to pick up on the song’s not-so-subtle digs at Daisy. Many are speculating that the lyrics spill the tea on Selmor’s real-life experience living under Daisy’s roof, making it a personal jab that’s hard to ignore. Though the full lyrics remain under wraps, the reactions have been swift and fiery!

Selmor’s supporters aren’t holding back either. One fan, Lee Tin Wezhira, came out swinging, saying, “This song is very necessary. I hope it gives hope to 1000s other children or adults who went through this… It’s your story to tell. Beautiful song.” This wave of support seems to resonate with many who’ve been through similar struggles, calling Selmor’s track a powerful anthem for those who feel unheard.

On the flip side, some think Selmor is stirring the pot for no reason. Tendai Dube Ganyo, one of her followers, warned, “But I don’t think this is really necessary… you are giving the enemy strong platform to attack.” Others are calling for peace, pleading with Selmor to stop airing the dirty laundry and focus on healing, not the headlines.

Sandy Mabhena, torn between both sides, admitted, “Mmmm, while I wholeheartedly sympathise, not sure this was necessary. I stand to be corrected.” Her comment reflects the general confusion among fans—while many sympathize with Selmor, they wonder if this was the best way to handle her family feud.
