Simba Bhora signs Marvellous Nakamba
Simba Bhora have signed Warriors captain Mavellous Nakamba on a 1 year contract as a free agent from English side Luton.
The player who was said to be headed to reigning champions Scottland is not on coach Norman Mapeza’s good books due to unresolved issues sterming from their time together in the National setup causing the deal to collapse.
Nakamba has returned to the Zimbabwe league after more than a decade abroad ,last featuring for the now defunct Bantu Rovers .He follows the steps of fellow Warriors legends Knowledge Musona and Khama Billiat in retracing steps back home.
His prefered move was Highlanders FC ,his boyhood club that he played for in 2008 in the age groups and Highlanders sponsor Wicknell Chivayo wanted to make him his first marquee signing.
However due to misunderstandings with the Highlanders board in coaching decisions the deal could not be completed in time and Nakamba opted for Simba Bhora which is rebuilding in charge of a second championship in 3 years.
